WHAT MAKES A TREE A TREE ?
WHAT MAKES A PERSON A PERSON ?
So let's start with the part of the tree that most people see first.
-THE LEAVES
The leaves are pretty. They are full and give the tree it's Aesthetic quality.
If you only could see the very top of a tree, because of it's leaves, you would know exactly what it is. Yet knowing what it is visually and knowing truly what it represents internally are two different things entirely.
Just because I may look a certain way on the outside doesn't mean that my appearance represents my internal beauty.
Oftentimes the mistake that one may make is to judge someone on their appearance.
And this brings me to the supporting structure of the leaves.
WHAT MAKES A TREE A TREE ?
WHAT MAKES A PERSON A PERSON ?
-THE LIMBS AND BRANCHES
The limbs and branches support the Beauty of all the leaves.....All of them.
And so the limbs and branches now become even more important than the leaves.
My visual appearance is only a superficial representation of my beliefs and ideas.
On a much Deeper level, my beliefs support my visual being, just like the limbs and branches of a tree support the leaves.
Which brings me to something even more important than this part of the tree.
WHAT MAKES A TREE A TREE ?
WHAT MAKES A PERSON A PERSON ?
-THE TRUNK
The trunk supports the limbs and branches which support the leaves.
The trunk of a tree is similar to everything that I've ever learned which drives my beliefs and eventually comes out externally and visually.
Everything that I've ever experienced and decided to make a part of my life supports my beliefs and outward expression.
Which transitions me into "THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THE TREE".
WHAT MAKES A TREE A TREE ?
WHAT MAKES A PERSON A PERSON ?
-THE ROOTS
This is the very "essence" of the tree. It is the beginning of the entire structure.
The roots support the trunk, which supports the limbs and branches, which then support the leaves.
My roots are the heart, soul, and passion that drives and supports everything that I've learned, my beliefs, and my outward expression.
LISTEN TO YOUR ROOTS.
YOUR ROOTS WILL ALWAYS GIVE YOU THE VERY BEST DIRECTION.
So if you find yourself puzzled at a crossroads in life, just disassemble "YOUR TREE".
